Prior to the start of your project, we will meet you at your chosen location to discuss your requirements, covering key aspects such as project size, budget, timeframe and style preference. Establishing your objectives at this stage helps us to establish a vision for the project and to determine a clear direction for the following design phases.
Taking into consideration all the specified requirements from our initial consultation, we will create proposed floor plan layouts utilising and maximizing each space to its fullest potential. Supporting the layouts, we will configure several mood boards for different areas capturing and projecting the style we wish to achieve. This stage of the design process usually takes between 1- 2 weeks depending on the size and complexity of your project.
In the design development stage, we will build your project in 3D software and produce photograph realistic renders of how each room will look when complete. Each render will display wall and floor finishes, ceiling design, lighting layouts and selected furniture items, including the specified materials & upholstery. Depending on the size of the project, design development can take between 4-8 weeks of studio time and 2-3 client meetings to finetune and approve.
In the final stage of our design process, we document and code all FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) including material finishes, lighting fixtures, sanitary items, furniture selections and accessories, forming specification booklets for your review. Each specification & code can be cross referenced with the technical drawing package. The technical drawing package is a highly detailed document which includes floorplans, small power layouts, RCPS (Reflected Ceiling Plans), wall elevations and customised joinery drawings. This stage of the process is integral to ensure all intricate details are highlighted, considered and approved before submitting to the contractor. These documents can typically take 3-6 weeks to produce followed by 1-2 client meetings to review and approve.
Site supervision, also known as ‘Post Contract’ is a monthly rolling option whereby your interior designer attends weekly site meetings to oversee the development of your project. This service provides weekly progress updates and answers any queries the consultants & contractors will have during the course of the project until completion. With over 15 years of site knowledge, we highly recommend this service to ensure the approved design is implemented correctly and to the highest quality.
Accessory sourcing is an additional service usually carried out towards the end of the project. We can offer to source all kinds of fine and rare decorative accessories, including artwork, sculptures, books, kitchen accessories, bed linen, and more. Utilising our industry contacts and the finest materials, we can elevate your space into an exceptional home.
Styling has the ability to turn your luxury home into a beautiful, welcoming and personalised space. With an eye for detail and precise planning we are able to style and bring each space to life. Styling is one of the most transformative and fundamental stages of any interior design project, so we highly recommend not skipping this step!
